NANN has the goal of making the system of care serving Native Americans in Los Angeles County as seamless as possible. Areas of concerns and need are:

The Red Circle Project of APLA is the only HIC Prevention Program in LA County that specifically provides education and prevention services to the Native American/Alaska Native urban communities. Currently, the program delivers services to Gay/Two Spirit Men and Native Transgender Individuals, with the objectives of adapting to the community-level interventions of adapting to the community-level intervention
Services Include:
• Support Groups
• Education Groups
• Prevention Groups
• Social and Community Groups
• Individual Services
Four workshops are provided based upon the Medicine Wheel teachings addressing issues such as:
• Decision Making
• Skill Building
• Health Mind and Body Image
• HIV/AIDS and STD Information
• Risk Reduction Information
• Behavioral Change
